On the expensive side, but saved some $s through GolfNow.com. Pace of play was great...there were only 12 groups on the course.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area

Extremely windy for many of the holes. On more than 10 occasions the ball was blown off the tee. Though the course is beautifully kept, I was discouraged because of the wind. Many times I had to add 2 clubs to compensate for the wind. I played with my brother-in-law, who was not a regular golf player, he was seriously challenged.

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Better than average course for the area

The price we paid was discounted through the use of our Golf Hawaii card. The views from this course are from gorgeous to spectacular. While there are some houses on the course...and more being built, they are not obtrusive and are set back in a way that doesn't obscure vistas. The landing areas are fair for most players (we played blue tees) and demand some precision. Greens were nicely maintained, hard and fast. Sight reading the greens as a first time player at the course was very challenging. Overall, I would play this course again but not until I've seen more of the course that the Big Island has to offer.
